Dr. Theodoros Kyprianou
Consultant in Respiratory & Intensive Care Medicine
Professor of Medicine
Prof. Theodoros Kyprianou is a senior consultant physician, researcher, and educator with extensive clinical experience in Respiratory and Intensive Care Medicine across Greece, Cyprus, Northern Ireland, and the UK. He served as the founding Head of Intensive Care at Nicosia General Hospital and has held consultant posts at leading NHS Trusts in London, including Guy’s & St Thomas’ and King’s College Hospital.

His clinical expertise includes the management of acute and chronic respiratory failure, complex critical care, mechanical ventilation, unexplained dyspnoea, and sleep-related breathing disorders.
He is currently Professor of Medicine at the University of Nicosia Medical School, and has contributed to national and EU-level healthcare reforms, including the design of next-generation Electronic Health Records and the adaptation of international clinical guidelines.
